WHEN GOD INTERCEPTS WITH YOUR PLANS...

GOD DIDN'T ASK JOSEPH AND MARY FOR THEIR OPINION CONCERNING HIS WILL.

I do not note any passage where the angel announcing God's plan, asks Mary or Joseph if this is acceptable with them!  God simply told them His plan and will for their lives! What an amazing thing and they readily agreed to God's plan without questioning it, but submitting to it with all their heart.

Listen, God has a plan for your life.  He made that plan before He created the world and He has no intention of asking your permission to proceed with His plan! Now but the only choice you have for your life is either to obey His will or reject will conscioussly, but absolutely we cannot change the will of God concering our lives according to our ways.

There are lot of plans we have made at different stages of life from our childhood as to what we want to become. But many of those plans did not come to pass as we ourselves changed those plans as it did not seem to be the best to our human intellect at a later stage. But God does not plan like we humans do with our little brain. Since He is an omniscient God His plans are always perfect and the best, impacting our lives for all eternity. Because He is not only a plan maker but He is as well the executor of those plans that He made for you and me.

A righteous heart like Joseph and Mary not only discerns God's will, but also entrusts their lives into the hands of God so to allow Him to fulfill those plans. As we celebrate Christmas, Let us introspect our lives as to whether we have submitted our lives to His will and to His will alone. Wishing you a blessed Christmas and a wonderful happy new year 2011.
